Time to Barnstorm!
It’s been a great summer, but I can feel the weather changing, football is starting up…and it’s time to go back in the Barn. I can’t wait!
This weekend, I’m launching a series called “The Heart of Liberty.” Throughout the past year, our leadership has been praying and wrestling with Liberty’s identity, mission, and path forward. It will be my privilege over the next seven weeks to connect where we feel God is leading Liberty today with God’s Word. Confession: it is Thursday and I’m still wrestling with what Scriptures to preach on. As I write this from my home office, I’m surrounded by books and notes…but I’m trusting God will keep doing what He has always done: show up just when I need Him the most.
You won’t want to miss this weekend. Beyond being “Information Day”, I have a handful of great announcements to make about awesome things that are happening around our church.

P.S. Every time I get excited about Fall, the staff roll their eyes and ask, “Have you heard of Indian summer?” Apparently, I need to temper my enthusiasm…
