Apostles’ Creed Today: Ancient Faith for Modern Times

Sermon Series

This year’s all-church study, which began on Sunday, October 7, is a six-week study of the Apostles’ Creed. Join us as we take an in-depth look at this ancient statement of faith and discover how it still speaks in our modern times.

Each week we will be preaching on a different element of the Apostles’ Creed. In addition, each week, we will publish a daily reading plan and a brief study guide, and several Bible Study groups, including Pastor Kyle’s Tuesday evening class, will be following along with the sermon series. (See links below.)

You can participate with us during our All-Church Study in three ways:

1. Follow along with the self-study plan.

We will give you a plan that will include Bible readings and reflection questions.

2. Join a Bible Study.

Many Liberty Bible Study Groups will be following along with our All-Church Study, and they would love to have you join them. Ask at the Book Sales table in the Barn Lower Level about how you can get involved.

3. Purchase a Book.

As our guide for exploration of the Apostles’ Creed, we will be using the book entitled, I Believe by Alister McGrath. You can purchase this book in the Barn Lower Level for $10. (For those who want additional study materials, the Adult Discipleship Committee recommends the associated LifeGuide Bible Study Booklet, which is also available in the Barn Lower Level for $5.)
