Ways You Can Help

While our building may be closed, we can still share the love of Christ with our neighbors!

Food Drive for People in Need

You can support your Delaware County neighbors by dropping off canned food in the wooden box outside Liberty’s Barn Lower Level doors. (Note: all church buildings remain closed.) Liberty staff will then take the items to local food pantry People in Need (PIN) on Thursday afternoons (April 30, May 7, May 14, May 21, and May 28).

The most needed items at this time are:

  • Canned baked beans
  • Canned kidney beans
  • Canned tuna fish
  • Boxes of Pancake Mix
  • Pancake Syrup
  • Boxed Spaghetti
  • Non Food Item: individual packs of baby wipes

All items must be in-date and in original, sealed packaging. Open, homemade, or expired items cannot be accepted.

Supply Drive for United Way

Liberty has received a request from United Way of Delaware County asking if we would collect the following items:

  • CDC-Approved Cloth Masks (see below)
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Cleaning Products
  • Disinfectant Wipes
  • Paper Towels
  • Toilet Paper
  • Latex or Nitrile Gloves

Items can be placed in the same wooden collection box as pantry items outside the Barn Lower Level doors. Staff will deliver items to United Way, which will distribute them to local non-profits. Thanks for your help and generosity!

Mask Donations

Liberty’s Mission Committee is also asking for donations
of non-medical masks for:

  • St. John’s to distribute to homeless members of our community; and
  • United Way of Delaware County to distribute to non-profits in Delaware.
