July 14 Inspiration

From the Desk of Jan Hasting, Administrative Assistant

As a parent of three school-aged kiddos, I’ve spent much of my time recently wondering what the upcoming school year will look like. I think about all of the possibilities and try to make plans for each one. In the end, I always come to the same answer—and I believe Philippians 4:6-7 says it best:

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.
Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything
we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds
as you live in Christ Jesus.”

This verse brings me back to center, reminds me that God is in control—and it will all work out!
