We invite you to join with Pastor Kyle for a new study of C.S. Lewis’s classic book.
We will begin by watching The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe movie together on Tuesday, May 4, at 6:00 p.m. in Carriage House 203/205.
On the remaining Tuesdays in May (the 11th, 18th, and 25th), we will meet to discuss the book at 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Carriage House.
Participants will need their own copy of the book.
For those not able to meet in person, a hybrid option will also be available. Questions? Contact Pastor Kyle.
Come and join us as we examine this modern retelling of the Gospel message.
Pastors Kemper Huber and Kyle Doebler shared about the stations of the cross in their devotional series, Scriptural Way of the Cross, on Wednesdays and Sundays in Lent and Holy Week, in anticipation of the celebration of Easter.
“People do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.” – Deuteronomy 8:3
If ever there were a time to turn to God’s Word to be comforted by stories of God’s faithfulness through time…
THIS IS IT.
The story of Scripture is one story after another of God showing up to rescue his people from danger—no matter whether that danger was physical or spiritual.
With this in mind, we are re-releasing our past All-Church Study, “Long Story Short.” We invite you to use the daily reading plan and study guides to dig back into the big story of the Bible and see how God’s Word might be speaking to you today. Share the link to this study with friends, neighbors, and family members and discuss it together (at a safe distance, of course!).
My hope is these guides will help you find new insight into God’s faithful presence with us, no matter where we may be.
One additional resource you may find helpful as you work through this study is Exploring the Story: a Reference Companion by Adam T. Barr and published by Zondervan. It is available for purchase at Amazon.com, ChristianBook.com, or wherever you like to buy books.
