Mike is Liberty’s Parish Visitor. In this role, Mike is responsible for fostering our church’s mission to care for and support our members, particularly the elderly, the homebound, and those in the hospital and care facilities. He also serves as a Stephen Minister and Stephen Ministry Leader. Prior to becoming the Parish Visitor, Mike spent almost 40 years in sales and marketing, with the last 20 years in sales of medical devices for people with diabetes. Mike and his wife, Kara, have 2 sons who both live in the Columbus area. The elder son is a Special Education teacher at Groveport Madison Middle School and the younger is in sales at IGS Energy in Dublin. Kara is a preschool teacher at Powell United Methodist. Mike and Kara are animal lovers and have 2 dogs and a cat. Mike enjoys playing golf with his boys and hiking with Kara. His favorite bible verses is: Do not be conformed to this world, But transformed by the renewal of your mind, That you may prove what is the will of God, What is good and acceptable and perfect ~ Romans 12:2
