Steve Banks, Music Ministry Director

Since 1993, Steve has served as the staff pianist and Director of Music & Media at Liberty Presbyterian Church. Raised in the suburbs of St. Louis, Steve has spent most of his life in the Midwest. At the age of 5, he started taking piano lessons began using his musical talent by playing piano at school, church and city events. Steve received additional training at colleges in Kansas City and Dallas where he further sharpened his abilities and has performed concerts across the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. He enjoys sports, writing and arranging music. He is married to Nina and has a daughter, Christa, who has a natural ability in music as well. Steve’s favorite scripture verse is: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. ~ Philippians 4:13
