Youth Digest – 07.23.19

After 65 days in the Riverside NICU, Donald Harvey Karn finally came home on July 19, 2019. It was a day of rejoicing, thanksgiving, praise, and love. Tanya and I finally feel like parents and it is truly a joy to have little D. H. home with us. Since Tanya is a night owl, she has been staying up late with him; since I am the early bird, I have been getting up around 4 AM to spend the morning with him. D. H. and I are watching early morning episodes of Seinfeld and Chuck while he eats his breakfast. Tanya and D. H. play with Alley Cat and read bedtime stories and get his bottles ready for the next day. We are also currently reading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe together as a family.

Our little family is so so thankful for all the prayers, support, encouragement, help, and dinners from our amazing church family at Liberty Presbyterian Church. We are so thankful that God has blessed us with a community that has surrounded our little family in love. We cannot wait for you all to meet Harvey and for him to find his second home at Liberty.

Blessings,

R. H. Karn
